CM-Paris

Paris was born and raised in Oceanside, California, and has lived in her home state ever since. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2022 with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Professional Writing: Science Communication. As an undergraduate, she conducted research in the lab of Prof. Bruce Lipshutz, developing safe, environmentally benign methods for derivatizing carboxylic acids to amides, esters, and thioesters. Beyond chemistry, Paris enjoys live music, listening to podcasts, and long walks outdoors.
