CM-Paul

Paul was born in Pomona, CA. He graduated from the University of California, Riverside (UCR) in 2025 with his B.S. in Chemistry. At UCR, he worked under Prof. Ana Bahamonde where he investigated the mechanism of nickel-catalyzed photochemical THF arylation using multivariate linear regression. In addition, he also worked on the development of nickel-catalyzed cyanation protocols utilizing benzonitriles as nontoxic sources of cyanide. Outside of lab, Paul enjoys cycling, knitting, and exploring local coffee shops.
