CM-Ellie

Ellie was born and raised in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. She obtained a B.S. in Chemistry from MIT, where she conducted research in the lab of Prof. Alison Wendlandt.  For her PhD, Ellie moved to Madison, WI, working in the laboratory of Prof. Tehshik Yoon. Ellie’s doctoral research focused on the stereocontrolled photochemical synthesis of cyclobutanes. Outside of the lab, she enjoys hiking, cooking, trying new coffee shops and restaurants, and rooting for the Green Bay Packers.
