Meet Erin
Erin grew up in New Canaan, CT. She graduated from Boston College in 2019 with a B.S. in Chemistry. At Boston College, Erin worked under Dr. Masayuki Wasa on utilizing “frustrated” Lewis Acid/Base pair catalysis to form new alpha-amino C-C bonds. She also worked in Prof. James Morken’s lab on enantioenrichment of a chiral boronic ester ligand. After graduating, Erin worked in the medicinal chemistry group at Vertex Pharmaceuticals in Boston, primarily on developing new analytical assays and high-throughout purification methods for small molecules.
