Meet Gabe

Gabe was born and raised in Massachusetts. He graduated from Greenfield Community College in 2021 with an A.S. in Chemistry, and will graduate from Haverford College with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Physics this fall. At Haverford, Gabe first worked with Professor Alexander Norquist to discover novel copper-halide perovskites, and then with Visiting Professor Grant Spoors on drug synthesis in continuous flow reactors. In summer of 2023, Gabe researched carbonyl-olefin metathesis as a REU student in Professor Corinna Schindler’s lab at the University of Michigan. He currently works with Professor Bill Malachowski on asymmetric catalysis at Haverford’s sister-school, Bryn Mawr College. Out of lab, Gabe enjoys spending time with friends, playing guitar and piano, and watching the Celtics win their 18th title.
