CM-Liao

Liao was born and raised in Shanghai, China. He is a rising senior pursing a BS/MS in chemistry and a BS in computer science from the University of Chicago. During the academic year he works in Professor Mark Levin’s lab on an atom replacement strategy to alkylate pyrazoles, as well as mechanistic studies for nitrogen insertion reactions. Outside the lab, Liao loves jogging, hiking, and discovering new places by cars—he’s also long held a passion for automobiles.
