CM-MJ

MJ was born and raised in Timmins, ON, Canada. She graduated with a BSc (Honors in Chemistry) and PhD degree from Queen’s University. While at Queen’s, MJ developed new rhodium-catalyzed allylic alkylation reactions using nitrile-stabilized carbanions under the supervision of Professor P. Andrew Evans. Outside of lab, MJ enjoys baking, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
