Thesis Defense

Huge congratulations to the fifth year Doylies who just defended their theses: Dr. Wendy Williams, Dr. Kassandra Sedillo, and Dr. Shivaani Gandhi! We are so proud of them and wish them the very best in the next steps of their careers!

We had a marathon of FPOs this week as we celebrated the newly minted Drs. Kariofillis, Ting, and Lau. Members of the Doyle lab returned to Princeton to defend their theses, showing off their five years of hard work and sharing in the company of their east coast colleagues. We will miss them dearly

On June 22, Mia gave an outstanding final public oral to the department on her work in the Doyle Lab, which focused on asymmetric Ni-catalyzed cross-couplings! On April 29th, Eric Webb gave his departmental Final Public Oral to a packed Zoom audience, making the Doyle Lab’s first virtual thesis defense a success! Congrats on your PhD, Dr. Webb!

Jesús successfully completed his final public oral! He will be moving north from the wilderness of Central New Jersey to the NYC area, and will begin a position at Merck Rahway in the fall. Congratulations Jesús!
