We had a marathon of FPOs this week as we celebrated the newly minted Drs. Kariofillis, Ting, and Lau. Members of the Doyle lab returned to Princeton to defend their theses, showing off their five years of hard work and sharing in the company of their east coast colleagues. We will miss them dearly
Mia Borden, PhD
On June 22, Mia gave an outstanding final public oral to the department on her work in the Doyle Lab, which focused on asymmetric Ni-catalyzed cross-couplings! She recently headed south to UNC Chapel Hill, where she will be a postdoctoral associate in the lab of Prof. Frank Leibfarth. Congratulations on a well-earned PhD, and
Eric Webb, PhD
On April 29th, Eric Webb gave his departmental Final Public Oral to a packed Zoom audience, making the Doyle Lab’s first virtual thesis defense a success! Congrats on your PhD, Dr. Webb!
Jesús Estrada, PhD
Jesús successfully completed his final public oral! He will be moving north from the wilderness of Central New Jersey to the NYC area, and will begin a position at Merck Rahway in the fall. Congratulations Jesús!
Erin Stache, PhD
Erin successfully defended her thesis! She will be joining the lab of Professor Brett Fors at Cornell University this summer as a postdoctoral fellow. Congratulations Erin on a well-deserved degree, and we wish you the best of luck at Cornell!
